MONROVIA, Liberia – Liberian exiled activist Martin K.N. Kollie has announced the graduation of 24 beneficiaries of the Martin K.N. Kollie Foundation (MKNK-F) scholarship program from the AlphaTech School of Vocational Studies.
The graduates are among 50 young Liberians whose vocational education was sponsored by the foundation at AlphaTech. After nearly eight months of intensive Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), the students successfully completed studies in electricity, plumbing, computer science, and cosmetology.
Activist Kollie described the achievement as another milestone in his continued efforts to empower Liberian youth through education and skills development.
“We are investing in the future of the youth. We are building a nation of technocrats, technicians, and entrepreneurs. The people must be empowered,” he said.
According to Kollie, the graduation of the 24 students is part of a broader scholarship initiative that has already enabled more than 100 young Liberians to acquire vocational and technical skills through institutions including Gonet Academy and several other training centers across Montserrado, Margibi, and other counties.

The AlphaTech School of Vocational Studies also presented the Martin K.N. Kollie Foundation with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its support for 50 scholarship beneficiaries enrolled at the institution.
Kollie expressed gratitude to the school’s administration for partnering with the foundation to provide practical training opportunities for young people.
“Thanks so much to AlphaTech School of Vocational Studies for contributing to building a better and brighter future in Liberia. We are humbled,” he stated.
The activist reaffirmed his commitment to expanding access to vocational and technical education, emphasizing that youth empowerment remains key to national development.
“The people must be empowered. The youth must be empowered. Liberia first. Liberia Forever,” Kollie declared.
The Martin K.N. Kollie Foundation continues to support educational and vocational training opportunities for disadvantaged young people, with the goal of equipping them with employable skills and fostering self-reliance across Liberia.
