Police Officer Dies After Fight Over Chicken Foot in Nimba County

Verity News has learned that a state security officer has tragically passed away following an altercation with a fellow police officer in Nimba County.

The incident reportedly began with a heated exchange between Patrolman Elton Bahn and Officer Jeremiah Tapkor, escalating into a physical struggle that left Bahn with a severe spinal cord injury.

The confrontation allegedly stemmed from a dispute over a single piece of chicken, which, according to eyewitnesses, both men were sharing when tensions rose.

Bahn reportedly confronted Tapkor about his actions, leading to a struggle in which Tapkor allegedly grabbed the chicken foot, prompting Bahn to pull it from his hand.

Family members confirmed Bahn’s death this morning at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, where he had been transferred for treatment from Karnplay City.

Footage of the incident circulated widely, showing the altercation that left Bahn critically injured.

Following Bahn’s death, Officer Tapkor has been taken to the Liberia National Police headquarters, where he is expected to face an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
