University of Liberia Begins Processing of Student ID Card after Many Years

Monrovia, Liberia — The University of Liberia (UL), through its Division of Student Affairs, has announced the commencement of a comprehensive student identification card processing exercise for all currently enrolled students across its campuses.

According to an official announcement issued by the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs, the ID card registration process begins on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and will run through Friday, August 21, 2026.

The university said all students seeking identification cards must present their current billing sheet and a past semester grade sheet to verify their enrollment status.

The exercise has been scheduled according to colleges and academic programs to ensure an orderly process and minimize delays.

Student leaders will be the first group processed from June 9 to 10 at the Capitol Hill Campus (FQ-2). Students from the Medical College’s Senior Program at the David A. Straz-Sinje Campus in Cape Mount will be processed from June 10 to 12, while Medical College freshmen at A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine will undergo registration from June 11 to 12.

Students enrolled in Gender Studies, Education and General Studies programs will be processed from June 15 to 22 at the AB Building on the Fendall Campus. The same venue and dates have been designated for students in the Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture.

The registration exercise for students in the College of Science and Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities is scheduled for June 23 to 30, while Business College students will be processed from July 1 to 17 at the Fendall Campus.

Law School and Graduate Program students will undergo registration from July 20 to August 14 at the Capitol Hill Campus. The final phase of the exercise, from August 17 to 21, has been reserved for students who may have missed their designated dates.

University authorities emphasized that all students are required to carry their identification cards at all times while on any University of Liberia campus and must be prepared to present them upon request.

The administration further disclosed that replacement of lost ID cards will cost US$10.

The announcement was signed by Assistant Dean for Student Activities and Organizations, Mr. J. David Karpennoh, and approved by Assistant Professor Saydah Williamson Taylor, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at the University of Liberia.
