Former Finance and Development Planning Minister Samuel D. Tweah has described the ruling Unity Party (UP) government as a “reckless mission,” while defending the infrastructure achievements of the former Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) administration.
In a Friday’s statement prior to the CDC 22nd anniversary in Grand Gedeh, Tweah said he was moved after traveling along the newly paved Ganta-to-Tapita highway, which was constructed under former President George Weah’s administration. He asserted that the CDC government had secured all financing for the road segment from Tapita to Toe’s Town.
“Passing on the paved segment between Ganta and Tapita brought tears to my eyes. The monstrous development done under GMW is breathtaking. Reckless Mission, you can never steal this legacy. It is etched in eternity,” Tweah wrote.
He ended the post by expressing confidence in a strong reception for the CDC in Zwedru, stating: “Zwedru will explode this weekend. Zulu Whiskey, here we come.”
