In a heartwarming demonstration of gratitude and institutional pride, three newly commissioned inspectors of the Liberia National Police (LNP) on Tuesday June 30,2026 paid a courtesy visit to the President of AME University, Rev. Alvin E. Attah , to thank the institution for helping shape their academic and professional journeys.
The officers, Estella Nuch Liberty, Marann Cassell, and Joyce Vincent , recently graduated from the National Police Training Academy and were commissioned as inspectors of the Liberia National Police following their successful enlistment earlier this month.
The three women are also proud graduates of AME University and beneficiaries of the university’s strategic partnership with the Liberia National Police, an initiative designed to provide students with internship opportunities, practical law enforcement experience, and pathways to recruitment.
The collaboration also enables serving LNP officers to pursue higher education while advancing their professional careers.
Expressing their heartfelt appreciation, the officers credited AME University for laying the educational foundation that enabled them to realize their dream of serving Liberia.
“We are exceedingly grateful for the foundation AME University laid for us and for the opportunity it provided to help us fulfill our lifelong dream of serving our nation,” the officers said in a joint statement presented to President Attah.
Receiving the delegation, Rev. Attah congratulated the newly commissioned inspectors on their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and patriotism throughout their careers.
“You have set out on a journey to serve your country, and we wish you the very best,” President Attah said. “Go and make your families, your communities, and your nation proud.”
The visit also underscored the growing collaboration between AME University and the Liberia National Police.
During the meeting, Liberia National Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman joined via telephone to express appreciation to the university for its continued partnership with the police force.
Inspector General Coleman described the recruitment of the three graduates as a testament to the strong and productive relationship between the two institutions, noting that the partnership continues to foster national development by producing educated, disciplined, and service-oriented law enforcement professionals.
The visit served not only as a celebration of personal achievement but also as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact that meaningful partnerships between academic institutions and public service agencies can have in preparing the next generation of leaders committed to Liberia’s growth and security.
